The Character of the Dorset Road Address
This is an established neighbourhood rather than a new precinct, and that shapes what you are buying. The streets around Dorset Road carry a mix of HDB blocks, low-rise conservation housing and the shophouse rows along Rangoon Road. There is no large tract of vacant land waiting to be built out beside the site, which means the outlook and the street pattern are broadly settled.
The one substantial change coming is about 500 metres away, where the former Farrer Park sports ground is being redeveloped into housing integrated with sports and recreation facilities.
